Yamaha BB1024X  £475

I picked this up in a trade with another basschatter. It is a stunning bass.

These basses are so well made and so well designed.

The neck feels greatĀ  at 40mmĀ at the nut.

Ā Unfortunately for me I have another incoming bass and I’m being told that ā€œ10 basses is enoughā€ (not including the NS EDB and the double bass, of course, shhh!).

So the rule of last one in etc

This is a truly beautiful instrument.

The depth of the wood finish is lovely and the design incorporates clever angled thru body stringing and powerful passive pickups.

I used to own this instrument. Sold it here on BC a few years ago due to financial necessity. But I missed it so much I recently bought another, identical one. If I'd known this would come up I might have waited, purely for sentimental reasons! But seriously, these are just fantastic instruments - and amazing VFM.

Wow, that looks lovely :)
You're lucky that "10 basses is enough" for you - I've got too many (apparently) and it's not ten! lol ;)
If I had room for another one (after selling my Yam 5'er) this bass would sorely tempt me
GLWTS

EDIT: BTW - what's the weight of this bass?

Weight is 10lbs. Not particularly heavy for a bass.

I have owned heavier, but these days I gig with only light weight basses of 8.5lbs or lower.
