I don't really have "multiple devices" that I listen to stuff on, but out of all my CDs, one I know I can go to whatever mood I'm in and always enjoy is...

The Cult "Dreamtime Live at the Lyceum"

Never get tired of it and it's also the album that got me into playing bass.

Yes, Close to the Edge. The musicianship still makes my jaw drop.

Dire Straits, Making Movies. Every track a gem but "Tunnel of Love" is about my home town and my youth.

The Saw Doctors, If This is Rock and Roll I Want my Old Job Back. Irish Punk/Folk at its best.

The Saw Doctors, Best Of. Every song a throat tearing sing along for me.

Roxy Music, For Your Pleasure. Still sounds fresh and other Worldly.

Well, it's official: Basschat is overwhelmingly overpopulated by an assorted assortment of crusty old conkers. :sun_bespectacled:

You've been here 10 years and you've only just worked that out??

Always on the phone or car USB stick?
Ommadawn - Mike Oldfield, Pulse - Pink Floyd, Random Access Memories - Daft Punk.  Not that they get played that often as everything else changes around them depending on time & tide, but those three stick.

No no. I've known about it for nearly 10 years, but have just been waiting for official confirmation:

Sabbath?

Cream?

Mayall?

The Dead?

Yes?

Removes any doubt I'd say. :)

Pushed for just one, Aladdin Sane by Bowie.

The gatefold sleeve and iconic cover, poring over the the lyric sheet for hours on end (all songs included save for the Stones cover - could never get my head around that as a kid), mesmerised by the most amazing music.

What’s not to be obsessed about for the past 46 years?!

I have a playlist on Spotify that contains 5-10 albums that I consider my cozy go to albums.  I'll rotate stuff in and out, but the handful that will never drop out are:

Queen - Sheer Heart Attack
Rich Kids - Ghosts of Princes In Towers
Japan - Obscure Alternatives
Aerosmith - Rocks
Sugar - Copper Blue

There's a handful of albums that I'll listen to elsewhere that haven't made it to Spotify yet:

Veruca Salt - American Thighs (Breeders-esque grrls with guitars)
Tsar - Tsar (Californian bubblegum pop/punk)
Screams - Screams (great 70s US/Chicago punky/rocky)
Charlie Sexton Sextet - Under The Wishing Tree (difficult to describe, Texan bluesy/folky/rocky)
Sugarbomb - Tastes Like Sugar/Bully (Fantastic Texan Queen/Jellyfish style pop/rock)

Mark Knopfler - Soundtrack from "Cal"

Japan - Quiet Life

David Byrne & Brian Eno - My life in the bush of ghosts

Joy Division - Heart & Soul

Bowie - best of albums. If i had to choose it would be either Ziggy Stardust or Alladin Sane

Sweet - Any of their Greatest hits

Eagles - Greatest Hits

Genesis - Seconds Out or Then There Were Three

Pink Floyd - DSOTM

Bruford - One of a Kind

Camel -  Live Record

Gregg Allman - I'm No Angel

More recent album in last 10 yrs is Arjen Lucassen - Lost In the New Real

Oddly enough i have all the Rush albums but not one that i constantly play. So many albums i tend to just pick one from my collection.
