stewblack
I have a bass. It has 2 pups and 3 knobs. VVT as one might imagine. Knob 1 behaves as expected affecting the volume of pup 1. Knob 3 does its job altering tone of either pup. Here comes the fun. Knob 2 on its own brings both pups into play simultaneously. Not just pup 2 as one might expect. To get pup 2 on its own both knobs 1 and 2 need to be up. Help!
hooky_lowdown
A picture of the pots and loom might help?

brensabre79
Is this the same bass as the one in the buzzz thread? Sounds like someone has re-wired it (badly) to suit their preference. It should be fairly simple to put back to original. And you'll probably find the buzzing stops at the same time (if it's the same bass). It's standard Jazz Bass wiring for VVT with two pickups so there will be countless diagrams out there.
stewblack
Hi @brensabre79 it's actually a different one but I suspect wiring in the other one too!
