Don't like the Butterscotch as much and don't like the Sonic Blue at all... how much are these Skyline versions anyway ?
Street price in US is about $1250 passive with single coils or $1550 active with humbuckers and tap switch. Sounds a lot for an Indonesian bass but you got to remember that it's only the production of the bodies and necks that is done in Indonesia. The hardware and fret dressing with Plek machine etc is all done in Chicago.

I guess by the time they are actually on sale in UK they will be about the same number of £.

Ah, Machines, that bit was not directed at you personally but to the great unwashed who know not of the thing that is the Skyline. :)

I've just now noticed you have a Fender Jaguar bass. That will be why the Decade is attractive to you.

It's that cooker that's getting me hot under the collar. Think of how many pots and pans you can have on the go !

It also seems to have an Ashdown style VU meter :).

YES! for some reason this seems to be the shape that has got me buy the short and curlys and will look to purchase one or two more in this shape (how would you descibe it?). But maybe i should stop lusting after your mega wanga bass and concentrate on getting my amp future sorted!
