stewblack Posted May 10, 2019 Author Posted May 10, 2019 Next time I shall play it before I put it up for sale! Quote
police squad Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 I did that with my Steinberger XL-2. Someone asked for more pictures and I'd forgotten how immaculate it was. Fed up with being low-balled I remove it from sale. Quote
Rich Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 In a period of considerable financial hardship some years ago, I considered putting my beloved Wal up for sale. I took it out of its gigbag, looked at it, picked it up, played it, put it back down, looked at it again, and said out loud to myself, "For fck's sake man, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?". Decided that I would probably sell a kidney first. 2 1 Quote
Lozz196 Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 I recently sold a Precision that I really didn’t want to, but I wasn’t using it in my band and I’ve come round to the viewpoint that I’ll only have gear I’ll use with the band. Must admit I was gutted when I gave it a last play, it was a great bass. Quote

It wasn't an expensive instrument but was what I considered my first proper bass and had an amazing spalted maple top. I still regret selling it. Quote
TheGreek Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Been there...many times. I think I'm learning my lesson. Quote

In fairness I'm trading it so NBD ought to assuage my grief! Quote
