Should be an adventure in Kent Saw them at Coventry in 95, which seems like yesterday. Double billed with Gong, the only differences were Daevid Allen out front and the style of music. Much awesomeness.

Playing the Shangri-La Truth stage on Thursday night, Avalon stage on Friday afternoon and a back stage bar gig on Sunday night. Are you going?

Yeah, I'm at the Rocket Lounge all week which I think is a big restaurant or diner or food court. I'm in a kind of house band role there, I think we open the first night and close the last, but the other set times move around the evening. Cool, I'll look out for the Rocket Lounge! Cuzzie
No Snow patrol - it’s now the Charlatans That line up really is not bad, you may not have that 1 global jaw dropping act, but across each line there are some teal good artists
BreadBin
I'd happily see at least 16 of those, and there's far more to see than the ones on the poster.
steantval
There is not one act on that poster I would genuinely go down the local pub to see for free. Now I’m really showing my age. This is what I would call a line up. https://www.ramblinmanfair.com/fair/line-up/ Edited June 27, 2019 by steantval
miles'tone
My favourite Glasto memories are all the nice surprises I've happened upon on the Jazz, Avalon and Park stages anyway.

Most of the bands at that link seem to be rock bands. Which is fine, but I’d sooner see a broader spectrum at a festival, personally.
wateroftyne
I note Sam Fender is near the bottom for probably the last time* *Even though he's had to pull out 'cos he hasn't been well.

The Darkness, Airbourne, Black Stone Cherry, looks a good festival.

He is the only good thing though, they are appalling otherwise. And he is hardly putting on a ‘show’. If that’s what it takes to make the big stage these days..........
