Cheap Mogami on Amazon?

This seems awfully cheap for six mogami cables.. £21.95?

Can anybody more tech-savvy than me tell me why this isn't a decent deal?

I bought 3 from either their eBay account or direct website (same company) but can’t remember which, anyway they look / feel & sound good to me

EBS flat cables are better, take up less room on your pedalboard. They come in different lengths

They are lower profile and more flexible for sure. But I found out why my board was so noisy and it was those damn cables, they’re very poorly shielded. If you have a dimmer switch on in the room, just adding one of those to the chain picks up the buzz like an antenna!

to be fair a dimmer switch interferes with everything hehe

 

I've been using EBS flats for 5 years, CONSTANTLY swapping pedals in and out and I have not had one bit of crackle or pop. And I mean I swap pedals a LOT on two boards. I don't doubt your experience, my guess is they have improved from the first design.

They did bring out new gold versions, but not sure if they have any metal shielding at the jack plug end (the first gen were pure plastic, which may be the root of the problem).

Completely silent headphone practice with the dimmers on since making the switch though. Just putting one EBS flatty in a true bypass loop was proof enough for me.
