three
Lovely sort of Alembic/CT hybrid - fantastic price for a hand-built neck through imo
bassaussie
Yes, spot on. It's not often I see custom basses that manage to give a nod to a couple of legendary builders, and also end up looking good, but that's a cracking bass. Absolutely beautiful. 4000
I almost bought this when it was on eBay a few years back. I don’t understand why Paul isn’t held in higher esteem as IME his basses are up there with anything I’ve ever played. In fact one I played at Bass Day a few years back completely blew away a Fodera on one of the other stands, IMO. Lovely bass. So many interesting things coming up at the moment, when I’ve so much else to pay for!
PeteHantzios
Thanks for the nice words! I'd love to try one of Everson's later works to see how he evolved, this is already an expertly built bass and it must be one of the earlier ones. White Cloud
Is this beauty long scale? Looks fantastic... especially at this price!
PeteHantzios
Yep, it's 34" scale, 19mm bridge spacing, and 40mm nut. Very nice player, and the woods feel amazing in the hands(at least to me). The ebony fretboard is the thickest I've seen and feels like chocolate if that makes sense.
