Line Amp Converter

I’m wondering if I need one of these.

I have a Steinberg Audio Interface connected to studio monitors. I have an audio switch that allows connection of Mac (home), PC (work) and Sonos outputs into the Steinberg and out to the monitors. 

Here’s my problem...I want to record the PC/Mac output at the same time as listening through monitors so the line in feeding the monitors is also the line in to the Steinberg and Cubase. 

Hoping there is a simple solution.

how can the line in on the Steinberg also be the line out to the monitors? does not make sense, sorry. You say "line in to the monitors" this is impossible.

can u post a pic of your setup?
