leembutcher
Trace Elliot rig for sale. c. 1992, Pre-Gibson/Peavey etc. Consists of: 1 x TE Series 6 GP7 AH100 head (100W) 1 x TE 2103 (2x10" cab inc. horn) 1 x TE 1153 (1x15" cab) £300 for the lot. A few notes to pique your interest: – 100W seems conservative in my opinion. – I’ve owned it since 1996 (4 years after its manufacture date). – Hand-written Model Numbers and Serial Numbers have rubbed off but have spoken with Trace Elliot and they’re almost certain the Model Numbers I’ve quoted are correct. – The speakers, encased in vinyl covered cabinets, are rated 300W and a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms EACH. Max power can be had by rigging into a 4 Ohm system, i.e., both 8 Ohm cabs together. Sounds fab! – In 1999 my dad had the 2x10" TE speakers replaced with Celestian BG10T 150s (without me knowing, cheeky sod!). Don't let this put you off; they’re pretty neutral so the sound is still unmistakably Trace! – Cabs have plastic mounts to support vertical or horizontal stacking – Condition is fair-to-good (but not mint) considering I gigged it about 3 times a month for approximately 4 years. Has only been gigged twice in the last 4 months. – Reluctant sale: selling purely to make room in my flat! Weighs quite a bit so shipping will be an issue. Definitely prefer pick-up only. I'm based in SE22, London. Dr.Dave
I was - am - a huge series 6 fan. 'Sensible' amp. Sadly I'm too engaged in other deals at the mo to take an interest but hopefully someone here will do so , and I doubt very much will ever regret it.
