Used Yamaha TRB1006, Id say 8-10 condition wise. has a few nicks here and there. But overall a great gigging bass.

Nice bass & a bargain price, Ste. So this is what you've been playing in place of the Bacchus? Sorry to hear about your band & financial woes, but I'm sure both this & the V4 will shift very quickly. See you in the new year with some new gear.

Rich.

That didn't last long :) Sorry to here the reasons though. That Tribute I got off you has become my main gigging base!

Good luck with the sale.

I know! Its a ballbreaker.

I really enojoy the challange that 6 strings brought to me, but now im only going to be playing bass whilst kickin' it at home, i want something cool and comfortable.

You sure? My recollection is that it wasn't that much. I think the 1005 and 1006 had narrower spacing.

What happened with this bass? I couldn't justify £400 on a bass right now, but I tried out a TRB1006 that was in Derby Cash Converters (for £500) and really liked it. So out of vague curiosity, I'd like to know the resolution of the TRB1006 saga.

It was Traded a few days ago.

Great bass it was though! Steve has it now so go to him if you fancy any opinions! i loved it but since leaving the band wanted something a little less challenging to play (purely the fact it was a sixer, im more comfortable on fives)
