bubinga5
What an absolute cracker of a weekend. The Brand New Heavies, Incognito and the major surprise was a band called the MF Robots. They were absolutely incredible. If you like JazzFunky type stuff they are a MUST.!! Bumped into Bluey who was watching them. And met Andrew Levy who's playing is always good. . Goldie Looking Chain were a huge suprise. What a funky HH act they are. 1
NJE
This is just down the road and I knew about it far too late to organise childcare 😫. I love the fact that Andrew Levy was playing a Squier, I really wanted one of those PJ Squiers so this has convinced me they must be a decent buy. Andrew is not a beast of a bass player but he plays perfectly for BNH and thats all i wanted to hear.. He sounded great and punchy.

Interesting that BNH and MF Robots were on the same bill. Jan Kincaid (BNH co-founder and drummer) left them a couple of years ago and set up MFR. Obviously no hard feelings there with his old band mates. Great that you got to meet Bluey. A giant talent and absolute gent.
