upside downer Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Anyone else enjoying this? Second episode tonight (28th May 9pm BBC4). Well worth a watch if the first episode is anything to go by. A travelogue around India looking at various aspects of Indian music and culture. Quote
ambient Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 I've got it recorded from last week. I haven't had chance to watch it yet. It looked good in the trailers I saw. I have a friend who's really into that kind of thing, he thoroughly enjoyed it. Quote
NHM Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 v good. has anyone built a bass with a fretboard way below the frets, so you can bend a note by pressing down? Quote
NHM Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 nice bass, but I was thinking of something with much higher frets, like on the sitar, so the strings are never on the board and the pitch is therefore variable depending on how hard you press down.... Quote

NHM Posted June 2, 2019 Posted June 2, 2019 saw a thing on Anderton's about a strat with scalloped fretboard - we need them to bring out a P like that. Perhaps they will next week? Quote
