I don't believe it's his but a 'volunteer' for the event - probably procured from the audience or staff. I've seen Jaco's (written) responses to questions about boutique basses, i.e. "why don't you play an Alembic?" before and they go along the lines that he's all about a straight ahead Fender Jazz. Sting tried to get him hipped to Steinbergers but it didn't stick... Quote
