Best place to buy a Pickguard?

I've had so many problems trying to get a pickguard that fits my Jazz bass.

The main problems are:

1. It's too wide or narrow and doesn't line up with the control plate.

2. It's too thick and is a couple mm higher than the control plate.

3. It doesn't fit the neck or the pickup properly. 

Where can I buy a pickguard that actually fits?!

No! Looks good from the web page though and looks like there are enough customisation options to sort you out. I think you can make your own template and send it too.

£51.50 for a standard celluloid tort guard!

I didn't say he was cheap or any good for that matter- just that it seems he can make what you are after.

I have bought 2 recently from North west guitars, one black and the other tort. I have a Mex Players Jazz, they are of good quality and fit this model perfectly and cost me £15 posted first class.

But not all Jazzes are the same so check before removing the clear vinyl.

I have had two from Martin and they have been absolutely spot on.  I sent the original pickguard and within in a week I had it and the two new ones back.

I've had a similar issue with my Squier VM Jazz. I bought a tort guard which has the right screw placement but isn't quite right around the control plate. 

I'm putting the original black one back on my Jazz this weekend and was going to what the tort guard, happy to send you some pictures to check the colour and shape of you fancy first refusal.

There's some good custom places out there but so expensive!

try www.gig.ink  ive had a couple made up by them and the price was great as was the service. I scanned my pickguard in and he sent me a pdf template to check it against the bass. both times it was the correct size. when they arrived the were good quality and just what i needed,.

Ironically, the cheapest was the best in this case. Found a pickguard seller on Aliexpress under the Pleroo brand. 74 Jazz 'guard replica. Fits a treat and cost me £5.50 all in.
