I could ask, but I don't want because I'm not interested in buying this, but I am so curious about this model.... I never saw this body.''' Bubinga stripe with... Walnut?

If someone can bring me light ( I know I could send the serial to WW but...)

My thoughts - genuine neck and replica body. That isn't a Corvette or a Streamer body.

I thought about Fame, but it's clearly a Streamer shape.... Mmmh.

Hmm... for this price you can get a genuine Streamer. I'm going to call it and say, 'pass!'.

Yes you can. I have a pristine condition Streamer LX 4 Jazzman from 2004 to sell. 900 euros.

But I look closer it is definitely not a Warwick body. Shape isn't really streamer and body isn't arched. And I don't recall any Warwick model with this kind of wood combination on the body.

People aren't really serious these times :/

There is some news.

The guy answered me, he said I can send the number to Warwick as he's sure it's a genuine Warwick..

Apparently it's a "hybrid" model, between the Streamer and the Corvette, bought new at Musik Messe, as an "exposition model"...

Anyway, I really doubt but I contacted Warwick to know more about the serial.

I like to make my investigation.

It's from 2004 BTW, the missing number was 4.

Case isn't closed.

The combination and design of body woods does not seem Warwick like.
I think the original body was messed up by someone who wanted different or extra pickups and they 'solved' it by creating a new body using different woodtypes. They did a lousy job as well, the maple veneers look crude and clumsy.

The only Warwick parts in there are the neck and hardware.

Like We all thought, herr Wilfer answered me:

Dear Mr. Marco Elwray,

this is not an original Warwick Bass and I guess that some one use

- the Warwick Neck

- the middle part of a Corvette Body

- and the Hardware

but put own sides on the bass and made it by him self. So it

has a Serial Number from our side but isn`t a Original Warwick

Bass... so no it is not a Warwick Bass anymore.

I hope this information is assisting you.

best regards

Hans-Peter Wilfer
