Hutton Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 (edited) My Mac desktop is working rather strangely on safari. It won’t properly load things like Facebook and basschat. They either load as normal or the blue line at the top of the screen only comes along so far then stops and nothing else happens. I am running Mohave. Everything loads fine on my iPhone and iPad. Any thoughts anyone? Edited June 14, 2019 by Hutton Quote
Woodinblack Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 Have you tried clearing your caches. You can get it from the Develop menu on the current safari (which you can switch on in preferences->Advanced). 1 Quote

Any thoughts anyone? When was the last time you updated Safari or your OS? You may be running an older version of Safari, so things might be not running properly. 2 Quote
Hutton Posted June 14, 2019 Author Posted June 14, 2019 Thanks chaps. I’ll try these things and hopefully get a result. Quote
pineweasel Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 Sounds like a connectivity problem. Do other internet service, e.g email, work? Do you have another browser to try, such as Google Chrome? 1 Quote

Owen Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 We use Macs at work. Safari is the least co-operative browser there is on the machines. Quote
