Houndogg
Hello , just tried out my new Xvive U2 transmitter/receiver in practice - excellent and I moved across the room to get the sound of the full band and find my happy place 😁The kit is small and the jacks have a hinge to the unit so you can keep them folded out of the way. Downside is that the instructions are hopeless and tiny font - and I had reset the transmitter to a different channel by mistake ( there are four in case the guitarist etc happen to have one and you would be on the same channel ) - but top marks to Wildwire Guitars who replied to my email at 6.30pm - 45 minutes after I sent it. bazzbass
glad to hear. But it's not at rehearsal that they may play up. It's at a gig, with wifi for the patrons, big fridges cycling on and off, 100 punters' (hopefully) iphones , PA router etc . You won't know til you're out there, always have a cable at the ready , just in case. Even the best ones can run into interference. Lozz196
Yeah that’s a good point, I always have a spare instrument lead on top of the amp in case of any signal failure/interference on my wireless kit.
Houndogg
Hi , gigged the Xvive twice last weekend , second gig had wifi in and all went well. Scares the band when I start moving around 😜🤣
Houndogg
...... but at the gig yesterday the sound engineer was knocked off the wifi from laptop to pa due to the Xvive and had to reboot her system - 😳 So I had to use a gtr lead 😉
therasonic450
Like my Xvive but for the fact it doesn't like active pickups, so can't use it with my Stingray as get dreadful high-pitched whine through the cab!☹️

It is quite happy with my Smoothound.
