Bought brand new in April 2016, this has been my main bass for the past 3 years.

The reason I bought it was that I had been suffering from a dodgy shoulder and my Stingray 5 with Ceramic pickup was quite heavy so decided to change to the Sterling which shares the same ceramic pickup and electronics as the SR5 had.

It's been a fantastic bass and has performed as you would expect a top US made bass to perform.

Condition wise, this bass is in almost perfect condition. There are absolutely no chips or such like on the bass. The only marks I can find are scratches on the scratchplate (which means it's doing its job), a very light scratch on the body that can only be seen in the right light and a very small, and I mean tiny indentation on the back of the body. There might be other marks but they will be so small that I could not see them while looking at the bass.

I have had Hipshot Ultralites fitted to this bass but the original Musicman tuners have been fitted back on. There will be 1 hole under each tuner should you take them off which may or may not come in handy if you want to fit a set yourself

This bass also comes with it's Music Man branded hard case which, like the bass is in near perfect condition due to not having been taken out of the house since I bought it in April 2016. Also included is all of the case candy that came with the bass including EBMM string wipes and stickers in their original sealed packages plus the all important key for the case which is usually the first thing that gets lost.

I have tried to take as many pictures as I can to capture the condition of the bass. It really is in almost new condition as I have always looked after my equipment and it has never been anywhere near the inside of a band van or truck, always transported by myself in my car and is the last thing to come out at a gig and first to get packed away.

I'm not looking for any trades and am happy to post, meet up within reason or have the new buyer collect the bass. Postage will be around the £35 mark but I can get quotes for any interested buyers. I have lots of packaging thanks to a shopping spree at Thomann.

The weight is coming in at a shoulder friendly 8.8lbs or 3.99kgs.

I'm not in any hurry to sell and am open to reasonable offers.
