Hi,

I am selling my two year old Old Smoothie in mint green due to it not being used enough. It is in excellent condition and has been gigged only a couple of times.

Tell you what, if that had a white pickup cover, and either a parchment or mint green pickguard (or maybe even no pickguard!) I'm not sure I'd be able to control myself!

That is still stunning, I am in the middle of doing a VW T5 into a camper and its eating money, but if this doesnt go and I get the chance I will be all over this. Would you take a black MM Stingray with a few marks as trade?

Don't think EB do replacement pickup covers in white for the Old Smothie though!

Oh really? That would be very surprising as the other two color variations of this bass both have white pickup covers (butterscotch and choc burst)

Sorry just seen you meant pickup covers. For some reason I read it as pick guard / scratch plate!

As a proud owner of one of these  ( in my moderate stable of basses , I literally don't pick up any other bass) they are phenomenal , I didn't ever think anything would ever move me away from a jazz width neck ,  I even ceased looking at the classifieds on here , for months on end ...  I have a chocolate burst  with the white scratchplate  ....   and yes you will struggle to find a replacement ..... I tried to find a black replacement but couldn't ..

The pickup in these is a 5 string  width allowing the strings to rest between the poles to tame a lot of the bark ..... ( unless you dial it in on the classic 2 band eq )

I've just paid a substantial deposit on a house otherwise i'd consider this as a backup and sell every other bass I own.

Hi! you certainly can. I just weighed mine at home and was 4.2kg.. it also states here on the same model that it's the same weight. Hope that helps!
