High Mass Bridge Issue - Sire Marcus Miller V7

Hi all,

I have recently bought the following bass guitar:

- Sire Version 2 Marcus Miller V7 Alder 4 String Antique white

It has a high mass bridge. I’ve noticed buzzing when playing the Low E and A strings, the D and G strings are fine.

After a bit of research I’ve pinned this down to the high mass bridge vibration which is making a buzzing sound. It’s really annoying.

Has anyone else had similar issues?

If so, please do you know how I can fix this?

Might I need to compromise the low action?

Are there any other compatible bridges that don’t have the issue? The bridge allows side to side movement because each piece is not contained in a frame like other bridge systems - I wonder if that’s the issue?

Any help/thoughts would be greatly appreciated : )
