Idles: Tiny Desk Concert

This is certainly a departure from the typical Tiny Desk repertoire. I'm not really sure what to make of it, but overall have to say I kind of like it. Your opinions may, of course, differ...

Don't understand the hype about Idles? Just another shouty punk type band with honest lyrics and forgettable songs. Sort of remind me of Gallows when they first started getting big.

Had never heard of them before I saw the BBC footage of Glastonbury last Saturday, but I like what I heard!

Something about them....like them a lot. Crazy since I'm a fusion fan but they have got this brutal and sincere energy which it's very catchy.

I watched that the other day. Not my usual cuppa these days but I quite liked the band too.

I do like the NPR's diverse approach with bands. I've discovered more than a couple of acts I like on there which have led to album purchases.

The Kexp stuff on youtube is great as well ,really good different bands doing live sessions
