Sandypjb
Seems a lot better this time through the telly. As an example, George Ezra's bass player is nice and prominent in the mix. He's playing a Lakland jazz and Fender P mainly. Great band all round.
BreadBin
It almost certainly sounds better through the TV than it does there.
Dankology
Only seen Michael Kiwanuka's set but thought the sound in general was a world better than anything I've heard on the Glastonbury TV broadcasts for many years.
Mudpup
Sheryl Crows band sounded good - nice Reverend bass on the first song :-)
Sandypjb
Yeah, saw her set. Great voice and she knows how to work a crowd.😁

Frank Blank
Unlike my usual taste (whatever the hell that is?) I’m really enjoying Michael Kiwanuka. As @Dankology pointed out earlier, lovely bass sound from a full Fender set up (I’m assuming his bass is a Fender?)
Dazed
Caught a bit of George Ezra and was quite impressed with the bass sound and playing. Not so much the songs. Bit of Hozier on now, surprised to see the bass player with a Skold 5 string sounds good too. On a different topic, anyone catch Goat Girl? Interesting outfit choice by the drummer 😂
Cosmo Valdemar
I saw a bit of the Charlatans' set and the bass was surprisingly audible! But bloody hell, they were terrible.
Cuzzie
Sheryl Crow and bass - amazing Charlatans - terrible but that Status Bass has decent crunch and was nice - definite highlight. Michael kiwanuka - always loved him. Stormzy - what a show and mixed up tracks and actually had live band sounding great. But I agree, here in TV land the bass has been great and I can’t wait for Kylie - Bassist uses Sandberg’s - so i will be happy and he is good. visog
Sorry to be negative but I don't enjoy any of it... It's awful. I mean I'd love to go for a massive campsite bender but don't count it as good music. Stormzy - don't know him - sure he's a nice chap but never heard a semiquaver of his music.
Cuzzie
That’s cool - different strokes and all - but not sure how you can say it’s not good music if you have never heard half of it?! But that’s just me
BreadBin
The Glastonbury you see on TV is the one parents are happy to take their teenage kids to. Meanwhile Pilton festival carries on away from the cameras, where there is pretty much every type of entertainment one can imagine or wish for and some you've never even dreamt of!
