Was for sale this wonderful Nightingale bass guitar. Built by Neil Macdonald and perhaps
Bernie Goodfellow( although not quite sure as there is very little info on the web) I
believe it to be built around 91 or 92 but again I'm going on what I've been told
from the previous owner who was also a little vague!

It's a beautiful instrument, well set up
and easy to play. Very similar in shape to Bernie's Rumour bass. I've been told that his circuitry
for the Rumour could be slotted into this but it would be worth a consultation with him to be sure.
I had the original circuit board taken out as it was a bit temperamental (and very complicated). So
now it's just two Kent Armstrong pickups with volume and tone for each one.Snakewood fretboard.
It's got a few battle scars, light scratches and dings, and missing a strap pin( see photo)
Nothing that affects playability. It's a great bass and if someone put a little work into it she'd be an incredible addition to any collection. They are obviously quite rare. Feel free to ask any questions but I might not be able to answer as my knowledge of it is very weak! Welcome to come and try of course. Based in Leicester. Doesn't have a case so would have to be local collection I'm afraid. Thanks for looking!
