markdavid Posted June 30, 2019 Posted June 30, 2019 Hi all, As per the thread title I am after finding a nice aggressive sounding set of strings for a medium scale bass, so far I have on my list to possibly try Prosteels, Rotos, Boomers, any others I should try? Thanks Quote
Lozz196 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 If Warwick make the scale required try their Red Label steel rounds. Virtually the same sound as Rotosound but last at least twice as long. Quote
markdavid Posted July 1, 2019 Author Posted July 1, 2019 Thanks, they dont seem to do medium scale but for the small amount they cost it might be worth me taking the risk and cutting a longscale set to fit Quote

The strings (rounds) will probably go dead long before you loose integrity of the string being cut for a shorter scale length. Quote
