DaveFry Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 His book " I Am The Blues : The Willie Dixon Story " is a good read . Quote
chris_b Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Willie Dixon was hugely influential. The songs he wrote and records he produced formed the basic building blocks for a couple of generations of players of all instruments. He was on many of the songs I played when I started learning bass. He was one the first bass players I listened to to get bass lines. Quote

A good service for rare books though. Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 i got my copy for a quid from a charity shop in Torquay. Quote
ahpook Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 (edited) The British Library has a single copy, shelfmark YM.1989.b.454. If I remember my shelfmarks correctly it should be available via Inter-Library Loan from Boston Spa. Edited August 17, 2019 by ahpook 1 Quote
