JohnA Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Just picked up a Squier Vintage Modified PJ because it looked nice, and was cheap. Slapped on some thomastik flats and a hi-mass bridge that I had lying around that I thought looked nice. It's amazing!! Had a USA P bass previously and the Squier plays, sounds and looks every bit as good IMO. My new favourite bass 2 Quote
Lozz196 Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 I recently bought a Squier VM77 Jazz and have been amazed at how good it is. I’ve had many Jazzes, US, US Deluxe, MIM but the Squier for me is the best of the lot. Quote

Rikki_Sixx Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Oof, that burst with the black pickguard is a great combination. Great looking bass, Squier's VM range is fantastic. Quote
philw Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 I had the Lake Placid Blue version for a bit. It was lovely. Can't really think why I sold it. You can hear it on this: https://open.spotify.com/track/4lWTJo2iTvgh8cSEv3tgGe?si=8WuFBnd6SGW9BHPTaT2ZKg P Quote
hooky_lowdown Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Lovely. So many people bang on about the CV range (and rightly so), but the smart folk know the VM range are more than decent for the money. 2 Quote
