CameronJ Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 (edited) If I were in any way a 4 string player Iād be keeping this.Ā Itās in really good condition with the only significant sign of wear being a scrape in the neck which Iāve photographed. Iāve had a few mods done to this, all at @thebassgalleryĀ in Camden. Firstly, I had the finish on the back of the neck taken dļ»æown from gloss to a nice satin feel. Also had a passive tone control added, to supplement the stock Glockenklang preamp. ThisĀ tone control works in both active and passive mode (Push-pull on the volume knob). As a result of this, the orientation of the knobs is now Volume,Ā Tone andĀ Treble/Bass on a stacked pot. I then fittedĀ some matching Delano knobs to complete the look. Plays and soundsĀ great, and is IMO an incredibly tasteful homage to the classic Fender Precision Bass. Weighs in at 8lbs 4oz on my bathroom scales.
