Hello

Due to shitty Financial situation, I put on sale my beloved and totally finished custom Rockbass.

It's not really a Rockbass anymore, here's the specs:

- Body from 2011 $$4 Corvette in Swamp Ash

- New Thuya Burl Top made by myself

- Neck is now (not on the pictures, sorry, but I can provide them by PM) a Warwick 1995 Corvette full Wengé, with brass JAN and brass frets. (removable trussrod)

- All the hardware is new and gold (even the neck screws and bushings)

- Passive Electronics Vol/Blend/tone

- Delano PC 4 HE/M2 + JC 4 HE/M2

It plays beautifully and sounds like a propre German Warwick, plus the custom side AND the unusual PJ configuration for a corvette.

NO TRADES, SALE ONLY, NO DISCOUNT, SHIPPING TO UK INCLUDED. (a soft gigbag will be included)

Here's some pics:

Pickups screws are also gold, and pay attention to description please, this isn't the good neck on the pictures!

You do some excellent work; do you have an accurate weight?

4,034Kg exactly.

Here's some actual condition pictures.

You could add £1000 to the price of this if it was made by Warwick, and I'm sure the isn't much if any difference! Looks great, £500 is a steal.

Thanks to all of you.

Indeed it's not genuine Warwick CS so I guess it worth stinky poo from a collector's side.

I should put some samples. It's a player, despite the classy Thuya burl top look.

It seems nobody is interested.... Indeed quite expensive for a shitty Rockbass. Such a shame.

It looks great, there's not a lot of Rockbass left is there?

Just the ash of the body.

I'm surprised no one has snapped this up yet. It's a thing of beauty.

Maybe a lot of people are in the same boat as me and simply don't have the funds.

If I had a spare 500 nicker I'd be on it like a shot.

That is cheap.

Does it mean the neck pocket of Rockbasses and Warwick are the same ?

and.. Did you receive my mails regarding another project ? 🙂

Hi Henry. Yes my bad, I didn't reply yet, very not polite from me. I will.

In Warwick shop I just see 1 reference number for both Rockbass and Warwick cavities. To my knowledge, I already used covers on both models, without considering if it's a Rockbass or a Warwick

No one? Slightly negotiable....

I really feel for you. It’s obvious you’ve sunk in loads of time and effort into this project. It really looks great. I think the more recent rockbasses are superb compared to the earlier models.

Any sound samples? I’ve never heard those pickups before.

Ans here is the sound sample, the description is in the comments.

Cheers
