Jimothey
If I had the money I’d think about taking a punt on this? Looks to me like maybe a broken truss rod I can’t see that the neck is actually broken? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F113814545243
TheGreek
He says it's bowed - I've seen second hand ones in good condition sell for under £200 so he may be a bit optimistic on the BIN price. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/bass-guitar/202731999784?hash=item2f33c4d228:g:vvcAAOSwUOBdD4-g https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Warwick-Streamer-Rockbass/264395182158?hash=item3d8f2e504e:g:e6MAAOSwD0NdIP09 Edited July 13, 2019 by TheGreek
Newfoundfreedom
Are these things actually any good? I had a Warwick Thumb some years ago which was nice, if little on the heavy side. I'd love another Warwick but the days of spending 4 figure sums on a bass are long gone.
prowla
I've had one RB 5-string and the neck was completely wrong for me. I'm now working on another, built from parts, and it is quite nice (I have to buy some pots and connect the electrics).
Jimothey
I’ve got an old 2002 (I think) Warwick RB corvette in trans blue and I really like it the neck is really fast and playable and it still has the Warwick trademark growl!! I’ve got a 2014 RB 5 string as well but I haven’t strung it up yet so I can’t comment on that one TBH the price you can pick them up for I don’t think you can go wrong!!
prowla
The problem with Warwicks is they need major surgery if there's a truss-rod issue.

I think repairing a truss rod issue on a Warwick can be more problematic and a daunting task because if you haven’t got the confidence/skills to do the work yourself replacement necks aren’t readily available for a reasonable price? so you can’t just swap them out like if you had the same issue on a fender type neck?..........🤔 Edited July 14, 2019 by Jimothey
