Any BC'ers In / Near Swindon - Help with bass collection - Now No Longer Required

Are there any BC'ers Near to or in Swindon.

A bass that fits my recent wanted ad has surfaced, seller is reluctant to ship.

Costs and beer tokens will be covered.

If you don't find someone, one option that I did once was to buy the cheapest hard case I could find for about £35, get it sent direct to them and get them to put the bass in and reseal, then pay for and arrange a courier to bring it to me. Might be a bit too much effort, but worth it for the right bass!

Thanks - I tried that but they are not too keen on that either.

Im in Lancashire - the bass would need collecting in Swindon.

Ok. Swindon’s a bit too far for me.

Yes! I gig regularly in Swindon, I'm there tomorrow and Saturday for instance  I can take an empty case bring it on home and post it to you.

Or if a Bristol Basschatter is going north I can pass it to them or drive up to say Brum for petrol and meet you.
