Trace Elliott AH150 + 1518t - opinions please.

As sure as night follows day, I give up playing and then someone asks me if I'm interested in a band they're forming. Well, I might be as he's a great drummer.

Anyway, I've got no amp/cab rig. However, someone local has a Trace Elliott AH150 head and 1518t cab for sale. What sort of gigs could you do with this set up? How loud, how big...the usual dumb questions 😁

Should be up for most pub gigs no problem with those TE watts! If you are playing larger venues you will need PA support.  Hopefully your back will be up for the cab.

That AH150 is not short of volume - and is one of the sweetest sounding TE heads (IMO). The cab though, as mep said, is about the weight of a fully loaded freight train… good sounding combination though.

Just bought another AH150 the other week - using it at home as a practice amp - does everything I need it to do.

I had a 715 (one of the last old generation ones - black with the illuminescent panel) which was exceptionally loud given it's conservative 150w rating.
