Spector Bass Euro 5 String / NS-5CRFM.

No Trades.

Now SOLD.

For sale is my Spector 5 String, great bass and only selling because I prefer the 34" scale on my other 5 string Spector.
Made in Czech Republic - The serial number dates from 2001.

After communication with Spector I believe that this is a early 2000's Transition Model.
Spector tell me that this suggests a transition model with a (stock) EMG BTS pre amp circuit (as was normal at that time).  Please see photographs of the cavity for the pre amp.
The bass has solid maple body wings, so possibly could also be termed as a Pre LX Euro Spector.

There is the odd scuff and scrape on the body as shown in the photographs.
Nothing that affects playability.

Out of curiosity, is it a 17mm bridge string spacing on this, like the US ?

Spacing is 17.5mm.

Very good basses, dare I say superior to the later Euro (not to say the Euro is a bad bass of course). I had one many years ago and it was on par with my NS5XL

I've switched!  More Spectors than Warwick's now!

I've joined a great new band where a Spector works much better.

Complete overhaul of my kit is needed.

About time mate!!! 😄

i would kill for this bass, as I mentioned on the Facebook page, I missed one that looked identical to this for a stupid price. Devastated!!!

Cheers - It is a great bass.

I've bought loads of stuff recently though, including 4 Spectors, and finding that a 4 string (Spector) covers what I need in the band.

That's not me on the Facebook page though (which page is it?  - PM me if you want to send more info).

Is this still available?

Possibly, I was going to trial it with the band but I've not got round to it yet.

Feel free to PM me.

I have one that is identical (apart from being natural finish) and it's one of my favourite basses.  I sold three Smith BSRGN's shortly after acquiring it.
