scannerman
So I'm sure there;s a simple answer out there.. I have an effects chain starting with a compressor to boss OC2 then into various overdirive, envelopes, chorus etc.... I would like to keep the OC2 as clean as possible in the final output without it going through all the other effects. Whats the easiest way to do this, ie: boss LS2?, Loop switches Any advise / experience appreciated Ta
dannybuoy
An LS-2 will do it yes, it’s one of the few pedals that can blend two effects in parallel. Also try putting the OC-2 last - common guidance is to put it first, but I prefer octave further down the line to keep the sub octave clean as you say, and I find dirt and envelope don’t negatively affect the tracking much at all! itu
I used to keep my COG T-16 first in the pedal board, but I tried it after the comp and it works far better. If you need a x-over (like that Tyler @Cuzzie mentioned), Iron Ether Divaricator is an option, too. You can ask them from: https://www.effekt-boutique.de/ Send a mail and ask for a unit. That company is helpful.
Cuzzie
KMA Audio marines offer a 7 or 14 day no quibble return on their pedals unless you have battered it So you could try it - you’ll have to pay postage back

Helbass
I've done this one https://www.musikding.de/MadBox-Splitter-Mixer-kit. Not hard to do and works well. I also prefer my octave sound clean. If you like DIY of course.
Higgie
Xotic Stereo Xblender is great. 3 parallel effects loops, 2 with variable blends, one with fixed 50/50 blend. Mono send, stereo return, plus stereo out. Total swiss army pedal for blending, multiple outputs etc!
