Redencorebass
Hi yes I have read the article but the guitar is not the same at all. My guitar has 3 pickups. The jack socket is at the bottom of the body, and no scratch plate, also all of the guitar is completely red except the fret board. Cannot find any id numbers,my next thought is to remove the neck to see if any underneath

Redencorebass
Ps you have me doubting had to check again, also noticed truss rod adjustment is at the bottom end of the neck not at the head
Groove Harder
Two pickups. The neck one is a 'split P' Sorry to be pedantic 😁 1
kodiakblair
There was a boy in Manchester had one of these on ebay. Main difference was white pickup covers and unpainted neck. I'm afraid he had no idea regarding model either. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/encore-bass-guitar-90s-heavy-well-270588836
Bassassin
This is the closest thing I can find, shows what looks like a single-pickup version of the same bass: Apologies for the tiny image, it's the preview from this pay-to-access site, cunningly upscaled: http://www.vintaxe.com/catalogs_main/catalogs_japanese_encore.php Early 90s, then, and if the info's correct, made in India. That's plausible as 90s Encore P bass clones appear to be a rebrand of the Indian-made Sunn Mustang basses.
scalpy
I had that model for my first bass in the early 90s, never seen another. I believe its a PB3.
