PauBass
Hi people, I was wondering if any of you have owned or tried the EBS Valve Drive... What's your opinion? I've never had a chance to try one out but I've listened to a few soundclips and I quite like it. Here: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cf...;songID=7162511 The price is a bit high, I think, so, is it worth the money? Any other alternatives that can offer a similar result?
johnnylager
Hey Pablo, try Bernie Goodfellow just up the road - he's the head EBS gadgey in the UK and bound to have one. Take cakes +/- biscuits.
mxm
Hi - used to own one of these and now regret selling it. Does that say enough !!! Great for a bit of valve edge and bite - or a great addition to a SS amp or pre-amp set-up.

In the meantime, I'd like to hear about people experiences with this pedal.
wateroftyne
I had one for a while, too. It warmed things up very nicely. Passive Fender-style EQ takes a while to get used to, though.
