ped
Hi guys just a quick tip I found. If you’re filing down the string saddle on your bass, a really good method is to use this ‘abrasive cord’ - pick the correct gauge and pass it through the string groove until you reach the desired height. Works really well and leaves a smooth surface. I recently used some on my G&L and it worked a treat. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mitchell-Abrasives-Abrasive-Aluminum-Diameter/dp/B000RELOT0 Cheerio ped

Andyjr1515
Good tip @ped. Certainly a lot cheaper than a set of nut files !
hooky_lowdown
I'm guessing this chord will also work for filing a nut as well. 😄
