WHUFC BASS Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 I can't even begin to list everything wrong with this bass ... and the price is "optimistic" to say the least! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/P-J-bass-guitar-custom-refinements/192971149387?hash=item2cedfa104b:g:YwwAAOSwTBtdGiwU Quote
hubrad Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 .. and later down the line its resale value will be amazing! Quote
Newfoundfreedom Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Please, please, please, someone stop this man. I know guitars are, at the end of the day, inanimate objects. But he should still be done for cruelty. 1 Quote
Happy Jack Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 This guitar is a bit unusual in having a longer fretboard that extends over the body so you get higher notes if you like. 1 Quote

Dan Dare Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 He obviously needs professional help. Fortunately, he only does his thang on cheaper instruments, but I suppose there's always a first time... Quote

fretmeister Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 He's quite famous on many guitar forums. Legend in his own cell. Quote
NikNik Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 To be fair, I thought his attempt at shielding was a good one, prima facie. I appreciate that he likes to tinker but those 'big hands' bridges and egg-slicer nuts that he hacks are beyond belief. Quote
WHUFC BASS Posted July 29, 2019 Author Posted July 29, 2019 His chosen method for lowering action on both basses and guitars is to file down the nut grooves which is just plain daft. The whole thing about taking seven string guitars and five-string basses and converting them to be minus one string for players with "big hands" is to my mind just plain crazy. How people buy this garbage is beyond me. 3 Quote
spectoremg Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Check out the fretless J/P in his other items. What is wrong with this man? Quote
prowla Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 I've found the perfect next project... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/345680669650853/ 2 Quote
Nibody Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 Is it sad that when I saw the first picture and where the item was located (Mayfield) I didnt have to even look at who the seller was? Quote

He cut the string grooves in the nut all the way down to a "Microbe" above the fingerboard. Bogdeology with a little added Biology. 😂🤣😂 Quote
Hellzero Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 And remember that, now, free jazz standard : 1 Quote
WHUFC BASS Posted August 4, 2019 Author Posted August 4, 2019 Crikey! Just looking at that natural colour bass hanging up one the wall in the background. The pickups are all over the place, looks like it was routed by Stevie Wonder, blindfolded in a dark room! 1 1 Quote
