DarkHeart
Finally picked up my new Cobia from Alpher HQ today a 4 string to go with my 5er. It's bloody lovely and sounds amazing with the Nordstrand Big Man pickup, just passive this time but with a 3 way toggle for single coil, series and parallel, I have to say its spot on and only weighs 7lb 2oz (most of that will be the pickup!) Hipshot hardware all round makes Jeff a very happy bunny! 13

BassApprentice
Both of those look great! When I eventually order a custom design it's probably going to be from Alpher but i don't think I'm anywhere near ready to narrow down a custom spec.
burno70
Love the colour and the grain, also the simplicy of the body - minimum knobbage and a single pick up. very nice indeed.

I’m guessing it’s full-sized route (even though the installed controls are very sparse) just in case the temptation to install anything more fancy strikes at a later date?

mangotango
I was doing so well with that up to a point, as lovely a thing as it is, but I was resisting the envy...and then you had to throw the 5'er into the mix, didn't you?
