I would normally prefer a Japanese Fender to a Mexican but standard Mex Mustangs are excellent and I can't see these being much better.

From the Japanese website I love the look of that orange Vintera!

The black one looks great, IMO. Looks like they've kept the traditional Mustang bridge too in place of the cut down version used on the American Performer Mustang.

They look really good. I prefer this to the Vintera (I know the Vintera looks more like the original)

The Mex already sound pretty good. I was about to buy one

The PJ pickups still look comically large against the smaller body  The smaller, original sized pickups look more natural.

It's like the bass version of this:

I thought that but he adjusts the tone setting and it sounds great thereafter.
