Dov65
Pondering wether to pick up another Legend thats been totally gutted..i've known about it for a wee while but just fancy having a tinker about. I don't want to spend a fortune on it so think i'll skip buying a preamp and keep it passive. Question is with 4 knobs what would be best configuration..vol + vol + blend + tone ? I can't think off any other...cheers in advance Dave
greenolive
I would’ve thought vol , vol , tone , tone ( effectively a vol & tone for each pickup) would work best , if you’ve got two volumes I’m not sure what you’re blending
Dov65
Good point bud, 2@ vol + 2@ tone..cheers for that
Guest
Or go for vol/vol/tone and use the last hole for a series/parallel toggle switch. I think there's a diagram on the Seymour Duncan site somewhere IIRC.
lemmywinks
Can get an Artec SE pre cheap which comes with pots, just stick some cheap knobs on it from eBay. Probably marginally more expensive than buying decent pots/switches. Edited August 1, 2019 by lemmywinks
