Looking For a Drum Machine/Sequencer for Practice

Hi all,

I'm looking for a drumbox of some description to play along with. Essentially, I want to be able to program a beat (or play a loop) and add some chord sequences, so that I can play along adding my own basslines, and practice arpeggios etc etc.

Doesnt have to be complicated, in fact, the simpler the better as learning curves put me off 🙂 I dont need to be able to plug the bass into it either.

So what's out there? What do you guys use?

Get the software - Band In A Box.

The basic package is $129 and I would only ever use 1% of the features. Probably a bit overkill for what I need, plus I dont really want to have to be sat in front of the computer.

ireal pro - I use this on my ipad. very capable - recommended. Not as comprehensive as Band In The Box - but sounds like it could be more suited to your requirements.

Just found a free app called Chordbot - less features, but free and perfect for what I want! PLay Store wouldn't have suggested it for me unless I was looking at iReal though, so thanks! 🙂
