umph Posted December 20, 2008 Share Posted December 20, 2008 can anyone advise me on who to go to about speaker repair near sheffield, i blew the 15" in my cab last night so i put the speaker that originally came with the sunn cab back into it and damn does it sound good also rated at 100watts and is louder than the 450watt eminence that i had in it! unfortunatly its really crackly i was wondering if this would be fixable? if so who to go to ta! umph Posted December 20, 2008 Author Share Posted December 20, 2008 yeah would it 100% be the cones though? the old speaker was nackered but this one seems to only crackle if you play around A, could it be anything to do with the head, the tone still sounds crystal clear just theres a crackle.
