Singer keeps changing song arrangements, what to do?

It sounds sloppy, someone needs to grab the bull by the horns. Even if that is simply to pick up the phone and cancel the gig. Is there one clear leader? Or is it a joint thing? Because I'm sure some bands can work out with running as a joint effort with no one clear leader, but it sure sounds like this one can't. 

Gigs going crappy due to completely addressable issues beforehand just sucks.

Oh yeah. I'd forgotten any this. It would be good to get an update from the OP as to whether the gig went ahead and if so, how it went? @shoulderpet

Drummers girlfriend not let him do the gig?

Band implode due to musical differences? 

It’s been 4 weeks gig date must have passed by now.

It went ok-ish, I played a really bad bum note on one song, another one I played the last note of the  song as a G instead of an E, singer/guitarists guitar was out of tune for an entire song, everything else went fine

Cool. No one will remember the bum note and half the audience won’t notice a guitar out of tune if your singer is running around and getting all the attention.

Did it feel under-rehearsed or poorly prepared though, or was it more stressful because of the extra avoidable pressures etc? You need to enjoy it, irrespective of whether you're getting well paid or not.
