Well, in a former life I was a guitarist/singer (always been a bass player) and I still enjoy a bit of noodling on a guitar.

I also used to switch between bass and and acoustic tuned B-B (I had a lovely J-45 for this)

but as I’ve downsized etc, I’ve sold all my 6 strings.

Went to PMT today to get a new multi-stand.

and tried this wonderful beast.

just sounded lovely - I played a Taylor iteration about 6 years ago and thought “jeez I wish there was a nice £500 version of this”.

And here it is.

Debating 9m interest free, or shoving it on the recently cleared CC.

definitely got itchy palms as I drove home.

Love a baritone, and thanks for posting about this one.
Is it an ABT60E? I got bewildered as the web told me that has 21 frets, whilst this one has 20 if I count correctly. Do different versions exist maybe? Also, pix on the web mostly have a scratchplate, but it seems the bursts do not. Haven't delved into it yet.

Anyway, how did you find the thick body? I'm wary of that aspect.

Didn’t seem too much to me, but then I owned a guild b30 for a while 😂

Oh well. We’re now the proud owners of a baritone.

I had a band get together at the house yesterday.

Drank my body weight in Elvis Juice and agreed to buy one from A local Facebook seller

Thought it was going to be a baritone ukulele. :)

It’s a bit bigger than that.

27” scale B-b

it’s like a super jumbo jumbo
