Hi guys,

Under A Banner are looking for a bassist.

You can find them on Twitter, Bookface and their website.

Please try and commit yourself. They are an epic group and I know they are destined for great things.

Don't waste this opportunity.

Regards

Black Guitar

Nonsense. You wouldn’t accept a sale advert as lazy as that.

They told you all you needed to know. Lazy criticism more like, and rudeness doesn't reflect well.

Whilst I also think the advert is extremely lazy, it will also only encourage responses from the type of person who is serious enough to make the effort to look into the offer.

jeeez ! http://underabanner.co.uk/ all details here,,,

It shouldn't be neccessary to have to go hunting the web for info that would have taken the OP maybe 20 seconds to add into his post - in doing so possibly getting more interest. You find the same with for sale ads on here. Some users have to be prodded several times to put in a location.

edit - look at StewBLack's ad right next to this one for a masterclass in how it should be done.

It took me 2 mins to find them. You guys just prove that you're not suitable material every time you moan about the ad.

They are a very good band. If I was 20 + years younger I'd have been sitting in the same room and talking to them on August 18th.

The point that's been made is that we shouldn't need to go searching online (no matter how long it takes) when it would take the advertiser a couple of seconds to include the important points.

or maybe they're just a bit thick and don't know how to write a simple ad that gives someone enough info to know whether or not to investigate further

Maybe the band had nothing whatsoever to do with placing the ad? It looks to me like something that an acquaintance who thought they were helping out would do.

That's what it looks like to me.  Either way, they seem to have found themselves a perfectly good bassist in Chris Bartle, though somehow i doubt whether it was on BC.

Yes I agree..If it was a major act I'd  make the effort but for this, I doubt it
