Quatschmacher Posted August 18, 2019 Posted August 18, 2019 @Bo0tsy, presuming you already have one. 2
lowregisterhead Posted August 18, 2019 Posted August 18, 2019 What a fabulous bass! Most of my current employers would probably have an apoplectic fit if I turned up on a gig with that, but it would be SO worth it! 🙂 3 7
Bo0tsy Posted August 18, 2019 Posted August 18, 2019 Thanks @Quatschmacher I do already have one of these. I can confirm these are fantastic, great sounding very funky Spacebasses. GLWYS @marcblum I really like the custom made flight case for this bass and that the strap has been repositioned. My one has some neck dive issues, so it makes total sense to do this.
moonbass Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 I have one of these. Great sounding and well made. I can confirm that the strap buttons need repositioning from the factory placement to combat neck dive. Like Bootsy I put mine on the lower ‘cutaway’ which works well. It might look like a novelty bass, but underneath it’s on a par with my German made Warwick Infinity SN for sound and playability (obviously cheaper wood and hardware choices) It definitely gets you a lot of attention! GLWTS
508pir Posted August 22, 2019 Posted August 22, 2019 I have one of these . Superb bass easy to play great sound . Moved the strap to stop neck dive.
marcblum Posted August 22, 2019 Author Posted August 22, 2019 Tonewise I would keep it. But I'm a sixstring man and each time I go for 4, I realize again and again, that it does not work for me.

marcblum Posted October 12, 2019 Author Posted October 12, 2019 Guys, we're running out of time. Last opportunity to grab that beauty before silly customs fee kicks in.

Fair point. There may also be an issue with CITES if Boris does manage to pull the drawbridge up on the 31st. You could need a manufacturer's certificate to import it because of the rosewood. If anyone wants this, they'd better buy it now!
Cuzzie Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Call it Pau Ferro Doubt the customs officer will know the difference
Richard R Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 This is fantastic! But I could only play it at the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services. ☹ GLWTS.
