I was air bassing along to Good Times in my head at our morning stand-up meeting. My boss asked if I wouldn't mind stopping doing that. He's a bass player too, but I suppose there's a time and a place

My air bass is much better than non air bass playing, especially 5 string. Never got the hang of a non air bass 5er, but an air bass 5, I'm a genius.

I'm an excellent air drummer as well, which is odd as I can't play non air drums for love nor money.

There's a chap, who I believe does actually play bass in a Jam tribute act, who played air bass at one of our gigs in Stevenage. Not only air bass but air bass in the style of Mr Foxton.

It's how I started. Everybody else attending the NWOBHM gigs at Blackpool Norbreck Castle was playing air guitar, so I chose bass instead. Seemed like a good career move...
