I have no idea what the thread is, but a Crown Macrotech would make you not want for any other power stage ever. I gigged with something similar for a couple of years. It was sublime.

It was a thread somewhere in General Discussion or Off Topic where the OP asked for a forum or section for discussing non-bass-related stuff.
After some bewilderment on the part of the thread's readers, the OP mentioned said Macrotech, and several proposed that the OP could just start a thread in the Amps and Cabs section, which the OP didn't do immediately, so I did it as a little joke.

So, it's a good amp, eh? 🙂

There's a bloke just up the road from me selling a bunch of ex-Virgin Cinema "Cepiar RS-450 Stereo Power Amps - Handbuilt In The UK" for £150 each.

I assume those are good power amps?
