Hi everyone!

I'm a new low-end enthusiast from Italy, aming to learn this beautiful instrument as best I can. 

Unlike many, I'm a sort of one bass man, looking for the perfect one and I'm really focusing on learning skills so you will probably read me (and my silly questions) on the "technique" section  . 

I will try to write as best I can, but please correct me if I write badly, I would appreciate it. 😉

Welcome Corto.

An acronym that you should become familiar with is GAS.  It's all very well claiming to be a one bass kinda chap but as new player I should warn you that GAS is a common affliction among bassists who have built a bit of a repertoire.  Apart from that, your knowledge and use of our language is more than adequate.

Me too....currently own 16, all are very nice, none of them perfect. Nor were any of the other 30-40 I've owned.

I should have said perfect FOR ME, at that precise moment 😆
I know it's impossible, but I am striving to think about studying (and spending money here) rather than "squandering it" into new electric basses.

I too should have only one bass and focus my attention on studying. Alas the aforementioned GAS took hold a while ago and refuses to let go.
